By downloading or using PLANZ ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

PLANZ is a personal task planning and scheduling app. You may use it for personal and professional productivity purposes. You agree not to misuse the app or use it for any unlawful purpose.

2. Accounts

PLANZ uses anonymous authentication via Firebase. No account creation, email, or password is required. Your anonymous identity is used solely to enable cloud features like referrals and shared plans.

You may delete your anonymous account and the associated cloud data (referral records, shared-plan membership, and device tokens) at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes this server-side data; locally stored task data is removed when you delete the app from your device.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• PLANZ offers a free tier with ads, and a Pro subscription with additional features.
• Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription or an auto-renewing annual subscription. Lifetime Pro is not sold as a purchase — it can only be earned through the referral program (see Section 5).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• No refunds are provided for the current subscription period upon cancellation. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms.
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. We will notify you of any price increase in accordance with Apple's policies before it takes effect.

4. Free Tier

PLANZ does not offer a time-limited free trial. Instead, the free tier is available indefinitely and includes the core planning features (with ads). You can upgrade to Pro at any time to unlock additional features, or earn Pro and ad-free access through the referral program. No payment information is required to use the free tier.

5. Referral Program

• Users receive a unique referral code that can be shared with others.
• Referral rewards are granted after the referred user has been active for at least 3 days.
• Reward tiers: 1 referral = 1 month ad-free, 3 referrals = permanent ad-free, 5 referrals = 1 month Pro, 10 referrals = lifetime Pro.
• Self-referrals are not permitted. Each user may redeem one referral code.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
• Abuse of the referral system (fake accounts, automated redemptions) may result in reward revocation.

6. Shared Plans

• Shared Plans allow users to collaborate on task lists using a join code.
• You are responsible for the content you add to shared plans.
• Plan creators can delete a plan at any time, which removes it for all members.
• Members can leave a plan at any time.
• Maximum 10 members per shared plan.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content (tasks, notes, images) you create in the app. We do not claim any rights to your content. Task data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud.

8. Advertisements

The free tier of PLANZ displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Ad-free access can be earned through the referral program or by subscribing to Pro.

9. Intellectual Property

The PLANZ app, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Amandeep Bhardwaj. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

PLANZ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that scheduling suggestions will be optimal for your needs.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed tasks, scheduling conflicts, or data loss.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms or abuse the referral system. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. For users outside India, mandatory local consumer protection laws may apply in addition to these terms. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction where required by local law, or otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
