Delete your account & data
PLANZ is built to be account-free. There is no email, password, or account to create — PLANZ uses anonymous authentication. When you ask to delete your account, we permanently remove the small amount of cloud data tied to your anonymous identity. You can do this yourself, right inside the app, in a few taps.
Delete from inside PLANZ
Account and cloud-data deletion is available directly in the app, on any device where you are signed in (iPhone, iPad, or Mac). This is the fastest and most complete way to delete everything.

Open your Profile
Open PLANZ and tap your profile avatar in the top corner of the Home screen.

Scroll to the Danger Zone
In Profile, scroll to the bottom. You will find the Danger Zone section.
Open Profile → scroll to the Danger Zone -
Tap “Delete Account & Data”
Tap the Delete Account & Data button. A confirmation will explain that this permanently deletes your account, your referral rewards, your shared-plan membership, and the cloud data tied to your anonymous identity.

Confirm the deletion
Confirm when prompted. PLANZ first leaves any shared plans you are a member of, then deletes your server-side account and signs you out. This cannot be undone.

On Mac, you reach the same option through PLANZ → Settings/Profile → scroll to the Danger Zone → Delete Account & Data. Because your tasks sync through your own iCloud, removing the cloud data takes effect across your devices once deletion completes.
What gets deleted
PLANZ stores very little in the cloud because it is account-free by design. Deleting your account permanently removes the server-side data tied to your anonymous identity:
- Referral records — your referral code(s), referral rewards, and any pending referrals you are part of.
- Shared-plan membership — you are removed from any shared plans, so other members no longer see you.
- FCM device tokens — the push-notification tokens registered for your devices.
- Your anonymous identity — your user profile record and the anonymous authentication user itself.
About your tasks & local data
Your tasks, routines, and availability stay on your device and sync privately through your own iCloud. They are not part of the server-side cloud data above. To remove this local task data, delete the PLANZ app from each device — removing the app removes its on-device PLANZ data. Anything held in your personal iCloud is governed by your own Apple ID, and is cleared when you delete the app from your devices.
Request deletion by email
If you have already removed PLANZ from your devices and can no longer reach the in-app option, you can request deletion by email and we will process it for you.

We will delete the cloud data described above and confirm by reply.
Good to know
- No account to begin with. PLANZ uses anonymous authentication — there is no email or password to recover or delete separately.
- Subscriptions are separate. A PLANZ Pro subscription is managed by Apple. To cancel it, use Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription.
- Deletion is permanent. Deleted referral rewards (including any earned Pro) cannot be restored.
